'Iolani School seeks a full-time Upper School Japanese language teacher for the 2023-24 school year. Candidates should have experience teaching advanced level Japanese.
An advanced degree in Japanese language is preferred. Candidates should be able to demonstrate native or near-native competency in Japanese and be comfortable designing and executing curriculum as part of a teaching team while embracing the use of instructional technology.
In addition to being active participants in our vibrant learning community, we are looking for educators who will inspire and support our students. The ideal candidate is dynamic, a strong communicator (both written and oral) and committed to professional growth in their discipline and teaching practice.
'Iolani School has many extracurricular opportunities available for those looking to extend their work beyond the classroom, including, but not limited to: participation in our residential life program, coaching athletic and/or academic student teams, and serving as an adviser in our advisory program.
