Kingswood Oxford is seeking an Upper School Latin teacher who is passionate, innovative, and collaborative – an educator who models a growth mindset and is committed to equity-focused pedagogy. In addition to having a strong educational background and teaching experience in Latin (and possibly Greek), successful candidates will be technologically savvy, have experience with curriculum design, and model best teaching practices. Candidates should also understand the importance of involvement in the community, student engagement and empowerment, ongoing professional development, and authentic collaboration with other faculty and staff to advance the school’s mission and strategic vision. Successful candidates must have experience and confidence in using technology in the classroom. The position involves coaching/co-curricular duties and advising a small group of students, in addition to teaching duties, as determined with the Division Head.
Located in West Hartford, Connecticut, Kingswood Oxford is a coeducational, independent day school for motivated students in grades 6-12.
